The weather has been cold and clear for the last five
days. We had snow the day after thanksgiving
witch is rare in our neck of the woods. Things
should start warming up soon.
The last few weeks I have been working on three projects the
first is our challenge quilt for the quilt show. I have my background complete and the heart.
I will be embroidering words over the white section and then some additional hearts
and embroidery. Hopefully my vision will
work out in the end. It looks really
loud right now.
The other project that has been occupying my time is this wool and cotton quilt that I started about nine months ago it was part of a class that I took through my quilt guild. I ran out of the green thread that I was using for the leaves so I’m putting this on the back burner for a while until the thread comes.
Lastly I’m making good progress on my Annabelle’s Adventures
quilt. These are the two latest block
that I have finished. These blocks are just so sweet hard not to love
them.
I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving mine was really
nice. My mom hosted this year so I had
very little to do.
Regards,
Lisa Mortell
Your Annabelle's Adventures blocks are just the sweetest thing I've ever seen. And they're so beautifully made! Just cannot wait to see the whole quilt!
ReplyDeleteWow! The details on your "Annabell's Adventures" are fantastic. They are wonderful blocks! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE your flower quilt. I love that the background fabrics are different in the four corners. That is something I would do.
ReplyDeleteI was so so thrilled to see Annabell's photo in the links this morning, I think she is the cutes wee appliqué and fell in love with her when I first saw her. You have made her with love I can see. Your quilt looks stunning, fabulous colours. Glenda
ReplyDeletePS forgot to say how much I like your challenge quilt, I would love to see it hanging in a gallery where you can stand back and just admire it. Cheers Glenda
ReplyDeleteYou are so busy, Lisa! Lots of cuteness happening here. Those little bunny blocks are adorable!
