WOW – June 27, 2012

I have been quilting for five hours today.  I came home a little early from work today and started quilting like a made women.  I’m hope to be finished by next week’s WOW post.

I also finished the first embroidery for Lynnette Anderson’s Fernhill BOM.  I’m working on month two and three right now so I should be caught up soon.

Have a great week everyone.  I think my husband and I are going to go out on our boat this weekend.  The sun actually came out today.  I was wondering is we would ever see it again.

WOW June 13, 2012

This week I finished my 6th Promises and Borders block and put the first six blocks together.  I’m very excited for the next installment of this pattern it will be a bigger block that goes the width of the quilt.

I quilted the fabric collage sample that I’m going to be using for my demonstration.  It’s so fun to quilt these little collages.

I also worked a little on my shadow quilt I need to give it a name.  I just need to add the last border and quilt it.

Hope everyone has a great week!

WOW - June 6, 2012

Well I have not posted for awhile again time goes by so fast.

I finished my 5th Promises and Borders block this will be a beautiful quilt when it's done.  I have not started the 6th block yet but i hope to this weekend.

The other project I have been working on is a fabric collage to use as samples for a demonstration I'm going to give to my quilt guild.  I love the way this is turning out I'm going to put this in my powder room when I'm finished.

I hope everyone has a great week. The weather in Seattle is terrible rain rain rain.

Garden Steps Block 6 and Quilt Top

This is my block 6.  I'm making this quilt for one of my nieces and the 6 block version is big enough for a lap quilt for her.  I decided to do a sashing and put a  border on just the sides. I might put another border 2 inches or less all around the entire quilt top.  Let me know what you think.
