Garden Steps Block 6 and Quilt Top

This is my block 6.  I'm making this quilt for one of my nieces and the 6 block version is big enough for a lap quilt for her.  I decided to do a sashing and put a  border on just the sides. I might put another border 2 inches or less all around the entire quilt top.  Let me know what you think.

    Love the quilt! I'm thinking that another border would look good, but, frankly, it's beautiful right now.
