Well remember last week I said I would not start any new
projects until I finished all my UFO’s.
That very next day my daughter asked me if I would make two baby quilts
for a special teacher of hers. She just had twins and has been experiencing a
lot of heath problem. So of course I started
two new projects.
I used the scraps of one of my UFO’s to make this baby quilt
top.
At the end of March I’m attending a three day class from Sue
Spargo. I’m very excited and I picked up
my supply kit from the shop and I have homework to do. We have to applique the leaves to the back
for the class and we will be learning a different embellishment for each one
over the three day class. So I got a few
done yesterday while waiting for my son at his driver’s education class.
Lastly I just want to brag about my wonderful talented
daughter. This is her presentation board
for her final line she is doing for school.
She has decided to do couture lingerie and will be making each item on
this board next quarter. I will have to
show you when she gets them completed.

First of all your quilts are gorgeous.. Now your daughter's sketches of her work is amazing. I am sure you are a proud Mom. I too have a granddaughter in fashion at University. Check out my blog to see her designs. I love young talent and am looking forward to seeing more of your daughter's work.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment on my blog. You asked how many hours I sew. I try to sew in my spare time (after housework etc. but we don't have a television, and of course it's still winter, perhaps that helps?
